Lions | Porcher Pushes Back Bonus Date; Contemplating Retirement
James Royer, of DetroitLions.com, reports that the Detroit Lions and DL Robert Porcher have mutually agreed to push back Porcher's scheduled roster bonus date in order to give him more time to contemplate his playing future. Porcher, a 12-year veteran, played in 14 games in 2003 and finished the season with 4.5 sacks for a loss of 23.5 yards. Currently, he is entering the final year of a contract that will pay him $6.8 million.
