Yankees | Trammell: Depression was Reason for Leaving
The AP's John Nadel reports Los Angeles Dodgers OF Bubba Trammell (depression) said the reason he left the New York Yankees last year after playing in just 22 games was that he was suffering from depression, and it didn't have anything to do with the team or the city. "Playing in New York was fine – leaving had nothing to do with baseball," said Trammell. "The team was awesome, the city was awesome. (Manager) Joe Torre is one of the best men I've met in the game. I have no hard feelings toward anyone."
