Yankees | Propsect Back After Undergoing Chemo

The Associated Press reports New York Yankees OF prospect Tim Battle is back on the field after undergoing chemotherapy during the offseason for a form of bone cancer. Battle, a third-round pick in last year's amateur draft, played in 27 games for the Yankees' rookie club in the Gulf Coast League before he was diagnosed last July with B-cell lymphoma in his left ribcage. Battle is among players taking part in pre-spring training workouts at New York's minor league complex. "I'm feeling great," Battle said Thursday, Feb. 5. "Everything is good. I just can't wait to get started with the season."
