Buccaneers | Could be Looking for LB Help

Roy Cummings, of the Tampa Tribune, reports the Tampa Bay Buccaneers may be looking to upgrade their linebacker position in April's NFL Draft. MLB Nate Webster is a free agent and does not expected to be offered a contract to stay with the team, and backup OLB Dwayne Rudd could be a salary cap casualty in the offseason because of his current contract. If both men are lost, however, Buccaneers director of college scouting Ruston Webster believes the team can find a quality linebacker in the draft's early rounds. "You never know what you're going to do until you see how things fall in front of you, but a lot of [the linebackers] have not only the physical tools you're looking for but the mental part as well," Webster said. "The last three years haven't been very good, but this year is different. It's a particularly good year for linebackers this year.''
