Pirates | Mini-Camp Successful

The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reports the Pittsburgh Pirates had 19 pitchers and 29 players on hand for the first day of a five-day mini-camp at Bradenton, Florida. The initial workout lasted 90 minutes and featured light throwing and bunting drills. The only no-shows were P Kris Benson and P Juan Acevedo. They will report today and are scheduled to begin workouts.
