MLB | M. Rodriguez to Audition

The Seattle Post-Intelligencer's John Hickey reports Cuban-defector SP Maels Rodriguez (pronounced "Miles") will audition for MLB scouts Thursday, Jan. 22, in San Salvador, El Salvador. Rodriguez, 24, is the only pitcher in Cuban baseball since Fidel Castro's rise to power to throw a perfect game and has a fastball that has been clocked at 100 mph.
