Cardinals | Search For New Coach To Begin Immediately

Darren Urban, of the East Valley Tribune, reports the Arizona Cardinals, after announcing the firing of head coach Dave McGinnis Monday, Dec. 29, will begin their search for a new head coach immediately. The list of possible candidates include former New York Giants coach Jim Fassel, former Minnesota Vikings coach Dennis Green, St. Louis Rams defensive coordinator Lovie Smith and University of Iowa coach Kirk Ferentz. Other possible targets could include Louisiana State University coach Nick Saban, Eagles offensive coordinator Brad Childress, Patriots offensive coordinator Charlie Weis and Pats defensive coordinator Romeo Crennel.
