Retired | Calderon Shot to Death

The AP reports former major league OF Ivan Calderon was shot to death in Loiza, Puerto Rico on Saturday, Dec. 27. Two people entered a store and shot Calderon, who was 41, in the back several times. Calderon played for 10 years in the big leagues with the Seattle Mariners, Chicago White Sox, Boston Red Sox and the Montreal Expos. He last played in 1993. KFFL offers its condolences.
