White Sox | Santiago Signs

The Associated Press reports the Chicago White Sox signed P Jose Santiago (Indians) to a minor-league contract. Santiago would get a $550,000, one-year contract if he is added to the major league roster and the chance to earn $125,000 in bonuses: $25,000 each for 35, 45, 50, 55 and 60 games played. Santiago later notified the team he was changing agents, leaving the status of the deal unclear.
