Redskins | Smith Expresses Frustration Again

Mark Maske, of the Washington Post, reports Washington Redskins DE Bruce Smith again voiced his frustration with his recent lack of playing time. Smith, who has been a reserve the last four games, even discussed the matter with owner Daniel Snyder following Sunday's, Nov. 23, game against the Miami Dolpins. "I can't help this team to win if I'm not on the field," Smith said. "This is not a selfish statement: I want to help this team win. Being on the sideline, my hands are tied. I think Mr. Snyder was also a little disappointed with that when I talked to him. I'm at a loss for words." Smith said, at an earlier time, that he would only accept being a backup if the team were winning.
