Dodgers | South Korean Lee Visits
Ross Newhan of The Los Angeles Times reports free agent 1B Seung-Yeop Lee of South Korea visited with the Los Angeles Dodgers on Friday, Nov. 21. Lee, along with his wife and agent John Kim, met with General Manager Dan Evans and other team officials at Dodger Stadium. Lee, known as the Lion King in South Korea, hit an Asian record 56 home runs in 2003, breaking the record of Japanese great Sadaharu Oh. The Dodgers are looking at him for a reserve role. Meanwhile, Lee has already met with the Seattle Mariners and is expected to talk with the New York Mets.
