Patriots | Ward Could Start At WR For Texans Game
Dan Pires, of the New Bedford Standard-Times, reports New England Patriots WR Dedric Ward, who was recently acquired earlier in the week, could get the start at wide receiver in the Sunday, Nov. 23, game against the Houston Texans. "I think that Dedric really in this system is, as crazy as it sounds, almost the most experienced receiver we have," said head coach Bill Belichick. "Dedric has at least run all of this stuff through the years, he hasn't been here for a few weeks but in terms of overall familiarity, understanding terminology, putting it together quick, playing different spots, he is kind of directing traffic out there on the first day of practice. It was kind of scary."
