Giants | Hamilton Rejects Plea Bargain
Updating previous reports, Margaret McHugh, of the Star-Ledger, reports New York Giants DT Keith Hamilton rejected a plea bargain on Thursday, Nov. 6, for the charges of cocaine possession he faces. By rejecting the plea deal, Hamilton denies his guilt, and will not face any penalties from the NFL this season. The NFL does not discipline players until they are proven guilty. Hamilton was indicted on Thursday, Nov. 6, but the case probably won't start for several months. When asked if he rejected the plea to make sure no verdict would be made until after the season, Hamilton said : "Those are (other people's) opinions. They're entitled to their feelings."
