Redskins | Smith To Start Again

Updating previous reports, Mark Maske, of the Washington Post, reports Washington Redskins DE Bruce Smith will start Sunday's, Nov. 9, game against the Seattle Seahawks. Smith and head coach Steve Spurrier spoke on Tuesday, Nov. 4, about Smith's belief that he had been singled out when he was replaced in the starting lineup by DE Regan Upshaw. "I talked to him briefly," Spurrier said. "I said, 'We're okay.' He thought we were trying to single him out because we hadn't had much pass rush. I told him that after talking to the defensive coaches, he was back starting again based on performance."
