Vikings | Stackhouse Helping Running Game
Bill Williamson, of the St. Paul Pioneer Press, reports Minnesota Vikings head coach Mike Tice believes the team's running game is starting to improve. He said the emergence of newly signed FB Charles Stackhouse has helped ignite the running game, which is ranked No. 4 in the NFL. It was ranked No. 1 last season. Stackhouse, signed early last month after being waived by the Giants, plays in a two-back set the Vikings have used occasionally the past two games. Most of the time, the Vikings use a one-back offense.
