NFL | Royals to Undergo Surgery

The Sun-Sentinel reports free agent P Mark Royals (knee) said he will have procedures to remove loose tissue from his knee and a cyst growing behind it. Released Sept. 29 by the Miami Dolphins, Royals never disclosed his knee problem while still under contract. He is expected to recover in about a month and hopes to continue his 15-year career.
