Jets | McGlockton Making Impact
Randy Lange, of the Bergen Record, reports New York Jets DT Chester McGlockton played about 18 plays in the Thursday, Sept. 4 game against the Washington Redskins and had an impact. On the Redskins' first drive, his stunt occupying the Redskins' left defensive side allowed Jets DL John Abraham a clear path to his first sack of Ramsey. And on back-to-back second-half plays, McGlockton collared Redskins RB Chad Morton for a 1-yard loss and batted down a pass. ``Oh boy, he really did a nice job,'' Edwards said. ``He can play 25 plays and I think he's ready to play 25 plays.''
