Bears | Lacina Could Play In 49ers Game

David Hough, of the Chicago Tribune, reports whether Chicago Bears OT Corbin Lacina plays in the Sunday, Sept. 7 season opener against the San Francisco 49ers depends on how quickly he grasps the offense. Bears head coach Dick Jauron said Monday, Sept. 1 that any veteran free agent the team might sign would be expected to be ready. Lacina is expected to compete for the starting left guard position, which converted Bears OT Steve Edwards currently holds.
