Lions | RB Substitution Plan Coming
Mike O'Hara, of the Detroit News, reports Detroit Lions head coach Steve Mariucci said Friday, August 8 that Mariucci and his staff will decide on a substitution plan at the running back position for the Saturday, August 9 pre-season opener against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Injuries have erased three backup candidates – Lions RBs Artose Pinner, Avon Cobourne and Shawn Bryson - to starting Lions RB James Stewart for Saturday's game.
