Texans | Newell Injury Update

Updating a previous report, Carlton Thompson, of the Houston Chronicle, reports Houston Texans C Mike Newell (knee) has torn the medial collateral ligament in his left knee. Originally believed to be a torn ACL, a torn MCL is a considerably less severe injury with a shorter recovery time. However, Newell is out indefinitely.
