Jaguars | Smith Gets Break

The Florida Times-Union reports the Jacksonville Jaguars kept WR Jimmy Smith out of team drills and was used sparingly throughout practice Sunday, July 27. Head coach Jack Del Rio said that it was by design, as Smith is the only Jaguars receiver to be assured a starting job when the season starts. The bulk of the workload was handled by WRs J.J. Stokes and Donald Hayes, who are the top candidates for the No. 2 receiving position.
