Broncos | Flowers Suspended Four Games
Associated Press reports Denver Broncos backup S Lee Flowers was suspended without pay for the first four regular season games of the upcoming season for violating the league's substance abuse policy. Flowers said he tested positive for ephedra, but wasn't aware the supplement was in his system after taking a vitamin that contained it. He said he appealed the suspension, but lost a hearing in June.
