Panthers | To Use Shotgun Formation If Peete Is Backup

Pat Yasinskas, of the Charlotte Observer, reports for the Sporting News that the Carolina Panthers plan on using the shotgun formation more this season, especially if QB Jake Delhomme or QB Chris Weinke wins the starting job. Veteran QB Rodney Peete, who is also a candidate to start, does not like using the shotgun and he would only use it in third-and-long situations.
