Panthers | Delhomme Could Be Ready To Start

Pat Yasinskas, of the Charlotte Observer, reports that although the Carolina Panthers re-signed QB Rodney Peete during the off-season, his age (37) is a concern and the team would like to find a younger quarterback for the long-term. The Panthers believe QB Jake Delhomme, a five-year backup in New Orleans, could be ready to start.
