Marlins | Olsen Speaks About Frightening Injury
Updating a continuing story, the AP reports Florida Marlins RP Kevin Olsen (head) said on Sunday he didn't remember seeing the ball that struck him behind the right ear in Friday's game against the Boston Red Sox. "I saw the film," he said. "I reacted at the very end, so I must have seen it real late (with) just enough time to flinch my head out of the way. When I hit the ground my thought was to stay awake (and) not to shut my eyes." After being placed on the disabled list on Saturday, he added he hopes to return. "My number one goal is to get healthy. This won't change my mental approach to the game. I plan to pitch like I always have."
