Redskins | Monk, Mann Try to Bring MLB Back to D.C. Area

According to Mark Asher and Chris L. Jenkins of the Washington Post, former Washington Redskins WR Art Monk and DL Charles Mann are among seven new partners in an investment group trying to bring a major league baseball team to Northern Virginia. The two former players have joined the Virginia Baseball Club, an organization that has been attempting to bring a team to the Washington area for the last ten years.
