Expos | Guzman to be Added

The AP’s Josh Dubow reports the Montreal Expos will purchase the contract of infielder/catcher Edwards Guzman on Saturday from Triple-A Edmonton. He will fill a roster spot vacated by OF Vladimir Guerrero’s (back) placement on the disabled list. Guzman was hitting .352 with three home runs and 27 RBI with Edmonton.
