Dolphins | More on Carter’s Injury Issues

Updating previous reports, the Miami Herald reports Miami Dolphins WR Cris Carter (illness) has been suffering continued gastroenteritis symptoms, which is the inflammation of the lining membrane of the stomach and intestines, this week. He won’t be cleared to return to the field until his kidney-function abnormalities are thoroughly investigated. Typically gastroenteritis normally lasts two or three days according to standard medical definitions. Carter was having problems on Wednesday but was able to finish both Thursday and Friday’s practice after not being able to practice in the early part of each day’s practice session.
