Fantasy analysis: Young is a slightly lesser version of DeSean Jackson. At 174 pounds, the Boise State product is ideally built for the slot, which is where he will probably begin his career, but he can play outside and draw single coverage while Calvin Johnson is commanding double teams.
The Lions clearly have a desire to build a high-powered offense, adding another speedster Young. He can return kickoffs, as well.
Young doesn't figure to have a lot of fantasy value in his rookie year, because Detroit has a lot of entrenched weapons with more experience and knowledge of their system to take looks from him. His long-term outlook is as bright as any. If you are awarded points for special teams work by an individual, he could have draft-day value.
