2011 NFL Draft – Pick 14: Robert Quinn, DE, St. Louis Rams
By Cory J. Bonini on April 28, 2011
The St. Louis Rams selected North Carolina defensive end Robert Quinn with the 14th overall pick of the 2011 NFL Draft.
Fantasy analysis: Quinn slid to the Rams because of off-the-field concerns and the long-term scare of a benign brain tumor. He has a tremendous amount of talent, is an athletic freak of nature and fits a need for St. Louis across from the emerging Chris Long. Expect James Hall to rotate with Quinn in 2011.
The Rams' pass rush should improve, but they aren't worth considering as a fantasy defensive team just yet. Quinn's IDP value is scant, as he probably won't see sufficient playing time or record enough tackles to warrant more than a spot start here or there.
