2011 NFL Draft – Pick 11: J.J. Watt, DE, Houston Texans
By Cory J. Bonini on April 28, 2011
The Houston Texans selected Wisconsin defensive end J.J. Watt with the 11th overall pick of the 2011 NFL Draft.
Fantasy analysis: The Texans are switching to the 3-4 defense under new coordinator Wade Phillips, which means a five-technique was a must for them. Watt is the ideal fit for this system and should be an early contributor.
Fantasy owners, though, should look elsewhere on draft day in IDP leagues. As for Houston's defensive team unit, Watt upgrades them to a sneaky sleeper candidate as a No. 2 DT.
