The Kansas City Chiefs announced Tuesday, Nov. 17, that the National Football League has suspended wide receiver Dwayne Bowe for four games for “violating the NFL policy on performance-enhancing substances.” Bowe’s suspension will begin immediately.
Bowe was the Chiefs’ leading receiver through the first 10 weeks with 33 receptions for 466 yards and four scores. However, he won’t be back in action until the final three weeks of the 2009 campaign. Want more? Keep reading…

ESPNews reports the Cincinnati Bengals are expected to sign free-agent running back Larry Johnson (Chiefs).

Rick Maese, of The Washington Post, reports Washington Redskins tight end Chris Cooley (foot) suffered a broken right foot during the team’s Week 7 game, according to head coach Jim Zorn.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported Washington would place Cooley on Injured Reserve, but Schefter updated the world with news that a foot specialist said the break wasn’t as bad as originally thought. It’s possible that Cooley will now miss only four weeks.

ESPNews reports Oakland Raiders running back Darren McFadden (knee) will be out two to four weeks with a torn meniscus.
McFadden put forth a dismal performance in Week 4, but his knee injury could have affected his play. He finished the game with minus three yards on six carries and one catch for five yards.
McFadden has been fairly average so far this season on the ground. He has rushed for 145 yards and one touchdown on 47 carries (3.1 yards per carry) in four games.
