The Pittsburgh Steelers selected Ohio State defensive end Cam Heyward with the 31st overall pick of the 2011 NFL Draft.

A talented player that fills a need

Fantasy analysis: Pittsburgh needed a stout run defender to add to their defensive line to help contain the edge, and they found a good one in Heyward. It's rare for a rookie 3-4 defensive end to have a significant fantasy impact, but Heyward will help the Steelers maintain their dominating fantasy ways as a collective group.

Steelers knew Aaron Williams and Brandon Harris are both reaches or don’t fit their system enough to be taken at 1:31. I personally thought they would trade down and take James Carpenter and Ras-I Dowling and grab a NT or ILB in Rd 3. Carpenter went a lot higher than I expected.

This was a great traditional pick but time for a look at the secondary now,… we got schooled in the Super Bowl.
