Anything else you’d like to share, Richard Seymour? Yikes.
Some observations I’ve been developing became clearer in Week 7. The Raiders being a playoff team wasn’t one of them.

Alex Rodriguez has come a long way.
That was an unconscious observation as this 2009 baseball season unfolded. How profound was his turnaround, though; it hit me like a ton o’ Mizuno Maples.
A FOX Sports poll asked readers whether A-Rod has proven himself with his 2009 playoff showing. Or is he still a postseason patsy? Or, is it TBD, get back to me after the World Series? Want more? Keep reading…

If one looks hard enough, they will find anomalies in all fields of statistical research. Fantasy football is no different, above all when it comes to ranking players and reviewing fantasy matchups.
From time to time, fantasy owners take things for granted. It’s easy to get caught up, and it’s even easier to listen to fantasy services that, more often than not, don’t break down the numbers. Join me while I analyze a few defensive matchups this week whose surface appearance can be deceiving.
Note: The fantasy points used below are based on standard scoring formats (4 points per passing TD, 1 point per 20 passing yards, 1 point per 10 yards rushing/receiving, 6 points per rushing/receiving touchdowns non-PPR). Want more? Keep reading…

No one ever said Kansas City Chiefs running back Larry Johnson was the smartest of individuals based on past actions, but this latest outbreak in slurs and negative comments towards his coach could cost him. He has put management and the league in a bad light, and with his past I can’t see how this will not result in some suspension. Jamaal Charles owners are happy, but odds are he’s on the waiver wire, so go ahead, take a flier and let’s see what happens! Want more? Keep reading…

Here is an early sample of Week 8 sleepers. You should check back Tuesday and Wednesday for our complete analysis.
Derek Anderson, quarterback, Cleveland Browns: Desperate times call for desperate measures, and six-team bye weeks will do that to fantasy owners. Anderson is barely playable but has a fairly decent matchup against a Chicago Bears‘ defense that gave up five touchdown passes last week to Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Carson Palmer. Caveat emptor! Want more? Keep reading…

Chris Paul tops the list of PGs
With the Top 100 Overall ranking in the books and on the site, it’s time to break down the performers at each individual position.
As always, these rankings are based on 9-category leagues (points, assists, rebounds, steals, blocks, three-pointers made, turnovers, FG%, and FT%). And please note that any player with point guard eligibility in Yahoo! Fantasy leagues will be listed; which means that many players will be ranked at multiple positions, i.e. point guard and shooting guard, etc. Want more? Keep reading…
