Heres what you seem to be ignoring:
1. He doesnt catch balls...and RARELY plays on 3rd downs....something that had NOTHING to do with injuries/holdout. Grant is talented...but fact is, he got his chance because of 3 fluky injuries and an immobile favre...wynn, jackson, and rodgers are all healthy and going to continue to chip into his production.
2. Grant was one of the most inconsistent backs last year...he had 312 carries and still only managed 4 tds...plus his two best games were against the same teams that he also ha his two worst games (Chi/Det). The odds of him getting 30+ carries a game is virtually zero now that Rodgers has emerged. He had 5 games of 15+ carries with less than a 2.8 ypa...that is TERRIBLE.
3.Grants ADP coming off the 2007 campaign, which you cant seem to get over, was between 21-30...making him the 12-15th rb off the board...if anything, its AMAZING he even maintains a top 40 adp after last year. Sure a case could be made he deserves to jump a spot or two...but its silly to put him back in the top 15 before training camp/preseason.
People just seem to be rooting for this guy. If im drafting today...ill pass on grant because the dropoff in wrs is WAY steeper than it is for rbs...this guy is a poor mans frank gore...he will go in the 3rd-4th for years to come...but NEVER live up to the expectations.

Great points, I'm definitely looking to see if Grant is still around in the 3rd round.
