The NASCAR Sprint Cup series rolls into Michigan International Speedway this week for the LifeLock 400. MIS is among the fastest tracks due thanks to wide, sweeping turns and long straightaways. Is Joey Logano ready to start passing the competition?
After a rough start to his rookie season in NASCAR Sprint Cup, Joey Logano has started to make strides of improvement. He entered the season with massive expectations having filled the seat vacated by former champion Tony Stewart. He won nearly everything in his ride up to Cup, and it had to come as somewhat of a shock to his system when he realized he would have to fight for top-20 finishes in his new ride with Joe Gibbs Racing. Logano’s critics harped on his lack of experience while proponents said that his talent would overcome the deficit.
