I don’t blame Jake Peavy. I wouldn’t want anything to do with the White Sox either. He would’ve moved from PETCO Park (the most pitcher-friendly park in baseball) to U.S. Cellular Field (one of the worst).

I’ve heard a few positive opinions on his fantasy prospects if he were to move from the Gaslamp to the South Side of Chicago, and I don’t buy it. The perception is that the White Sox would offer him more support than the Padres do, which would offset any decline in performance caused by the move to the AL and away from PETCO. Want more? Should Tony Stewart be in your lineup this weekend?
The Coca-Cola 600 is the longest race of the season and one of the highlights of the NASCAR Sprint Cup season. The race is held at Lowe’s Motor Speedway in Concord, North Carolina. The majority of the teams in the sport are based near the course so it is the closest thing to a “home track” in NASCAR. The Sprint All-Star Race was held at Lowe’s last Saturday so the teams have gotten a chance to preview their setups.
