A-Rod won’t be shooting from the hip, at least for six to nine weeks.
The Associated Press broke the story that Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez will have arthroscopic hip surgery on Monday. He’ll have to undergo another procedure at the conclusion of the season.
KFFL.com’s breaking news analysis gave an early outlook on what would happen to A-Rod’s fantasy value when the story first break that surgery was a likelihood. Rodriguez, his doctors and the Bronx Bombers discussed all options, including playing through the injury.
