Philadelphia Eagles fans are known to be a fickle, demanding, overbearing, passionate and faithful group of people. Collectively, their faith has dwindled, not in the Eagles as a team but in head coach Andy Reid’s and quarterback Donovan McNabb’s ability to jointly lead this team to the Promised Land.

Many fans are upset at this hour that the rotund Reid and seemingly unflappable McNabb are indeed returning in 2009 for another crack at it, but rest assured that this is the right move for the organization. Every team’s fans can hope, dream and wish their way to a world championship, but the reality is the team needs to have the goods on the field to deliver when it counts. Want more? Keep reading…

How about those Arizona Cardinals? I had penciled in the Carolina Panthers as the Super Bowl champions! They had the league’s most dynamic running game, a quarterback who could manage a game as well as put the team on his shoulders when needed, and one of the league’s best receivers in Steve Smith.

I’ve said this before, but I believe what our Arizona Cardinals insider told us about halfway through the season. The Cardinals defense’s main issue was not staying within their gap assignments. This was reminiscent of the philosophy of Monte Kiffin’s tough defenses.

The Cardinals have done that, and by doing that, they have allowed their offense to control portions of the game with a rushing attack. That is they are becoming a complete team right before our eyes. Can they beat the Philadelphia Eagles? I believe they can. Want more? Keep reading…
