Saints

Drew Brees is in your lineup regardless of the matchup, but for good measures, he passed for 748 yards, seven TDs and two interceptions in two starts against Carolina last season.

Darren Sproles is the only Saints back you can confidently start, and his value is PPR-centric. Mark Ingram and Pierre Thomas are merely gamble plays most weeks.

Marques Colston would have posted a nicer line last week if he didn't fumble out the back of the end zone. He should be in your lineup most every week, and this one is no exception. Lance Moore is in near must-start territory given his nose for the end zone.

Jimmy Graham is a monster, if you must know. Start him in all formats.

Panthers

Cam Newton could give this defense fits with his run-pass ability. Last year, he scored four total touchdowns and accounted for 441 offensive yards in two games. Not impressive, but neither was New Orleans' D last week.

DeAngelo Williams laid an egg last week after everything lined up for a big game. He could grind out a respectable showing this week, but he's too risky to count on for non-desperate owners. Jonathan Stewart (ankle) is optimistic about playing, although we don't recommend starting him if he goes.

Steve Smith (knee) has been wearing a brace while dealing with a sore knee. As long as he is active, you have to play Newton's favorite target. Brandon LaFell and Louis Murphy could see more work this week.

Greg Olsen will need to get into the mix early and often to help the Panthers' chances. He is dynamic and deserves a start in deeper leagues.
