Chiefs

Jamaal Charles' continued exile from the passing game early in the season suppresses his PPR upside, but he should still be able to break a big play, especially if he gets to test the second level of this defense.

Matt Cassel is a sleeper that should have a much better time in Week 2 than he did in the opener. Peyton Hillis' workload might be cut into a bit by Shaun Draughn, who surprised with an effective Week 1, but Hillis has some surprise appeal, as well. Mark Dexter McCluster in that group, too, and you should have more confidence in playing Dwayne Bowe, though you're better off expecting WR3 numbers than those of a WR2.

Bills

Brandon Flowers' (foot) potential absence for a second straight week elevates the stock of all playable Bills aerial components. This secondary was unsettled even before that. Ryan Fitzpatrick, Stevie Johnson, Donald Jones - a more attractive fantasy piece with David Nelson (knee) out for the year - and Scott Chandler all have valid lineup credentials this weekend.

With Fred Jackson (knee) out for at least a few weeks, C.J. Spiller will see full-time work. KC was OK against the position last week, but their stats are a bit skewed because they faced pass-happy Atlanta and the plodding Michael Turner. Spiller's explosiveness should leave him in decent fantasy position. However, don't be surprised if Tashard Choice vultures a touchdown inside the 5 if Spiller needs a breather.

Buffalo Bills WR Stevie Johnson (back) was back on the field for voluntary offseason workouts after resting because of a lower-back injury. He was running routes during individual drills. "It definitely feels good to just be out there on the field, even through the little pains I have," Johnson said. "It's getting better every week," he said of the back malady. "They gave me a six- to eight-week thing to even get on the field, and it's only been about three, so I feel good."
