Texans | Arian Foster says he should be ready

Houston Texans RB Arian Foster (calf) said he'll most likely be ready for training camp.

Texans | Coach concerned about RT situation

Houston Texans head coach Gary Kubiak said he is concerned about the team's situation at right tackle because OT Derek Newton (knee) and OT Brennan Williams (knee) were not able to participate in offseason workouts. "If you look at our roster, it looks good, but the bottom line is the guys aren't out there, so that's concerning for us as a team and me as a coach," Kubiak said. "I love the way Newton has worked. I think he made a lot of progress as a player last year. He played hurt at the end of the year, which was tough on him and us as a team. We drafted a young man with a lot of ability (Williams). He hasn't been out here yet." Both are expected to be ready for training camp.

Texans | Brian Cushing expects to get clearance next month

Houston Texans LB Brian Cushing (knee) said he expects to receive medical clearance from Dr. James Andrews by July 17.

Texans | DeAndre Hopkins impresses

Houston Texans WR DeAndre Hopkins impressed head coach Gary Kubiak in minicamp. "I've been impressed. He struggled early - which we knew he would - but I think it helps when you throw a guy in with the ones right away because he gets coached by (Matt) Schaub," Kubiak said. "But the last three days he's impressed me because he hasn't had Matt and he hasn't had Andre (Johnson) out here and he's been on top of what he's doing. He's obviously very gifted. We've just got to make sure we've got him doing what he does best."

Texans | David Quessenberry impressing coaches

Houston Texans head coach Gary Kubiak said he has been impressed with OT David Quessenberry's work at right tackle during offseason workouts. "I'm impressed with how far he's come," Kubiak said. "He's obviously been put in a very tough spot, but sometimes that's how you find a heck of a player." Quessenberry has seen time with the first-team offense because of injuries to OTs Derek Newton (knee) and Brennan Williams (knee).

Indianapolis Colts RB Ahmad Bradshaw (foot) is expected to start once he is recovered from foot surgery he had this offseason. Bradshaw could begin training camp on the Physically Unable to Perform list.

Indianapolis Colts RB Ahmad Bradshaw (foot) was spotted with his right foot in a walking boot during minicamp practice Wednesday, June 12. He had surgery on the foot six months ago and continues to be brought along slowly in his recovery. He plans to be ready to go when Indy's training camp opens July 27. The Colts see him as more than an occasional contributor, but his role will be clarified the closer they get to Week 1.
