The Jacksonville Jaguars have signed free-agent WR Jeremy Ebert (Patriots). Terms of the contract were not disclosed. In a corresponding move, the team waived DT Jeris Pendleton.

Jaguars | Kyle Love confident in health

Jacksonville Jaguars DL Kyle Love said he's confident his Type 2 diabetes won't be a problem or cause him to change his playing style. Type 2 diabetes is more manageable with the blood-sugar monitoring, a healthy diet and a good dose of physical activity. Love has already changed his diet, cutting out juices and desserts. He said he reported to the New England Patriots at 297 pounds, which is 18 pounds lighter than his normal playing weight. He also lost 10 pounds from working out and rest from diabetes. "People try to make it like I lost 30 pounds," he said. "I didn't lose 30 pounds. ... I feel great. There's nothing wrong with me. There's a lot of rumors going around. Like they say, you can't believe everything you hear," Love said.
