First-Half Fantasy Baseball All-Stars
Here's the second annual Rounding the Bases First-Half All-Star team, gauging the fantasy baseball studs based on profit return on draft or pickup value, not necessarily overall performance alone. No Hanley Ramirez, Miguel Cabrera, etc - only those midrange and late grabs that are putting you over the top.
Best of all, no Joe Buck or Tim McCarver. I promise.

Just as this iconic band started to blaze their trail near Los Angeles, another powerful SoCal force is lurking below the mainstream scene. Tap your mouse here for more »
Scott Kazmir: Remastered

In 2010, I believe in Scott Kazmir. Not just because I partake in Led Zeppelin, either.
I trashed the former Rays southpaw last year. This is why the roto community fantasizes every year: redemption stories and shifting values.
And in this case, bargain-basement clearance sales. Tap your mouse here for more »
Scott Kazmir traded to Angels and more fantasy baseball notes
Out of the box
UPDATED 8/28 11:09 p.m. EDT: After a period of conflicting reports, the Angels acquired Rays starting pitcher Scott Kazmir for minor-league pitcher Alexander Torres and infielder Matthew Sweeney.
This trade doesn't really change Kazmir's already erratic fantasy value that much. He isn't changing leagues; the Rays and Angels have similar bullpens, run support and ballpark factors. Tap your mouse here for more »
