Steve Slaton: Can a perfect fantasy football storm develop?
The last time we saw running back Steve Slaton as a productive player in fantasy football circles it was back in 2008. Now, waived from the Houston Texans, we may be given a chance to see what, if anything, Slaton has left provided he falls into the right situation.
In '08, Slaton rushed 268 times for 1,282 yards and nine touchdowns while also hauling in 50 passes for another 377 yards and a score. It was an impressive rookie campaign, but was followed by an injury-shortened '09 season where he had troubles holding onto the football and failed to make an impact. Tap your mouse here for more »
NFL Preseason: Week 1 thoughts
Ladies and gentlemen, it's fantasy football season!

Rodgers in midseason form
Preseason games are ongoing, Brett Favre is playing games with the media and the fun is just beginning.
Over the next month, as I did a year ago, I'll be sharing my thoughts on all of the NFL preseason action. It is important to remember the first two rounds of preseason play have starters seeing very limited playing time.
I'm drinking the Kool-Aid of...
Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers was in midseason form, hitting 12-of-13 passes for 159 yards and a 25-yard touchdown to Greg Jennings. A-Rod is doing a good job cementing his place as our No. 1 fantasy football quarterback this year. Tap your mouse here for more »

Fantasy Football Draft: Taking some chances

Ready to replace LT?
KFFL.com managing editor Bryce McRae and I made the trek to Chicago last week, as the Fantasy Sports Trade Association had their annual summer conference.

A Daily Fantasy

A true fantasy...
I finally was able to sneak in some spare time to see Iron Man 2. Not only was it more enjoyable than the first one, I also have a whole new level of appreciation for Scarlett Johansson's skin-tight outfit acting ability. Speaking of movies, I'm still anxiously awaiting the release of the A-Team...
It's easy to think about movies right now because it is mid-May and the NFL, for the most part, is taking a nap for the most part. After all of the hustle surrounding the free-agent market and the non-stop attention given to the NFL Draft, a little down time won't hurt any of us. However, there are still some things worth talking about... Tap your mouse here for more »
2009 NFL and Fantasy Football Predictions

Prediction: Favre will cry
The 2009 NFL regular season is here, and the real fun is ready to kick off.
Every season brings new surprises; it also brings things that make you scratch your head. If everything made as much sense on the field as it does on paper, in spreadsheets and through equations, the game wouldn't be nearly as fun -- or maddening trying to prognosticate what's going to happen!
Here are some things I am going to hang my hat on entering the year. It'll be 17 weeks before we know how right -- or wrong -- I am. Things I think I think entering the 2009 season are: Tap your mouse here for more »
