Digging Malcom Floyd

Floyd could shine in 2010
I'm starting to dig the potential of San Diego Chargers wide receiver Malcom Floyd entering the 2010 fantasy football season.
The 6-foot-5 receiver is entering his sixth season in the league. Typically, in the third- or fourth-year of a receiver's career, you expect that big bounce forward season. Up until last year, when he started nine games (catching 45 passes for 776 yards and one score) following the release of Chris Chambers, Floyd had been slow to emerge and was mostly a role player for the Chargers.

A Daily Fantasy

Leverage is gone...
For all extensive purposes, the NFL free-agent market is over. Thursday marked the final day NFL teams could give an offer sheet to restricted free agents, as teams would need the seven-day window before the NFL Draft in order to receive compensation had they not matched any offer sheets for their own players. In between all of the earthquakes we have experienced lately in SoCal, the local media has been giving a lot of attention to the San Diego Chargers cheerleader auditions this weekend. Tap your mouse here for more »
A Daily Fantasy…

Definitely a member of the A-Team...
As I mentioned yesterday, I'm having fun getting caught up on all of the movies and TV I've missed out on the last eight months. From V to Flash Forward to Chuck, it has been a fun ride. I was a bit disappointed with the end of Nip/Tuck (one of my all-time favorites), but it was an understandable end considering the volatile nature of the show and characters.
What has me the most excited is the movie version of a childhood classic, the A-Team. For those that haven't seen the second trailer, bang it here to check it out. I'll be there on opening night June 11, barring some oddball NFL craziness changing my schedule. Oh, did I mention Jessica Biel will be in it? Tap your mouse here for more »
Ask KFFL's Experts: Ryan R. Bonini
Random questions were posed to KFFL.com’s team of editors. Some queries are hypothetical. Most of them deal with fantasy football, while others address the NFL Draft. Each editor’s response is his own view of the situation at hand, so the answers may vary from the KFFL consensus. Tap your mouse here for more »
Can the stars align in New York for LaDainian Tomlinson?

Did LT pick playing time potential over Super Bowl run?
Former San Diego Chargers running back LaDainian Tomlinson has a new team and another chance to show he isn't washed up.
The New York Jets have added Tomlinson on a two-year deal, per to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Tomlinson chose the Jets over the Minnesota Vikings, who also courted him. Tap your mouse here for more »
LaDainian Tomlinson: 9 reasons to keep the faith

LT begins running past defenders this week!
Excuse me while I pick the crow feathers out of my teeth after saying during the preseason that LaDainian Tomlinson would be second in the league in rushing this year.
Actually, I predicted a lot of things that haven't come true, but this one is bothering me the most.
The San Diego Chargers' running back has been a bust this year. There, Captain Obvious said it again. Injuries have cost him two games; he has just 140 yards rushing, and has found the end zone once. He has chipped in another five receptions for 30 yards. Tap your mouse here for more »
LaDainian Tomlinson injured again…

LT possibly on the shelf again...
Is anyone else feeling a little déjà vu right now? Haven't we danced this dance before?
San Diego Chargers running back LaDainian Tomlinson was on the sidelines too often during the second half of the team's win over the Oakland Raiders Monday night.
Fantasy owners of Tomlinson, much like last year, could only curse in frustration or crack open another cold one while watching backup running back Darren Sproles score the winning touchdown and catch a handful of passes during the second half. Tap your mouse here for more »
