The second week of preseason action is, for the most part, in the books and a little thing called fantasy football is hotter than ever.
NFL starters saw more action than they did in their first week of preseason play, but in most cases it was still less than a half. Next week is the one that counts, as most starting units will play into the third quarterback before hanging up the cleats until Week 1 of the regular season.

Every season brings new surprises; it also brings things that make you scratch your head. If everything made as much sense on the field as it does on paper, in spreadsheets and through equations, the game wouldn't be nearly as fun -- or maddening trying to prognosticate what's going to happen!

Drinking the Schaub Kool-Aid
I don't put a ton of stock into the early preseason games, but it is important to catch every snap the starters take for a variety of reasons. How is their chemistry with teammates? Do they look sharp? Do they look healthy? More than anything, you can catch a good look at third- and fourth-string players, who may be the stars of tomorrow (or end up in the UFL).
