Ask KFFL's Experts: Ryan R. Bonini

Will Megatron rebound in 2010?

Random questions were posed to KFFL.com’s team of editors. Some queries are hypothetical. Most of them deal with fantasy football, while others address the NFL Draft. Each editor’s response is his own view of the situation at hand, so the answers may vary from the KFFL consensus. Tap your mouse here for more »

A Daily Fantasy…

Katie CassidyI have always been addicted to horror movies.

Growing up, the likes of Friday the 13th, Halloween, and, of course, A Nightmare on Elm Street were my favorites. In recent years, the scariest things I've had to deal with are some of my fantasy football teams.

If you are a horror movie buff, you can understand my excitement for the upcoming remake of A Nightmare on Elm Street. The third trailer was just released. Sure it'll be tough seeing someone other than Robert Englund playing Freddy Krueger, but I'm sure I'll suffer through it. And Katie Cassidy's acting can't be as scary as watching the Cleveland Browns' quarterbacks play, right? Tap your mouse here for more »

A Daily Fantasy…

Stranded on an island...

I'm continuing my run through DVR shows, losing critical beauty sleep at night. On tap this week has been Lost, and I definitely will admit the show title easily sums up my feelings in regards to what is going on with it.

It's an enjoyable show, has some likeable characters (like the pictured Evangeline Lilly) and it is fun trying to figure out what the hell is going on. Unfortunately, part of me thinks when they try to wrap it all up at the end of the season everyone will be left feeling disappointed and, well, lost. Tap your mouse here for more »

The Detroit Lions don't want to win…

Lions choose Matthew Stafford as No. 1 pick

Lions choose Matthew Stafford as No. 1 pick

Georgia quarterback Matthew Stafford is the Detroit Lions' No. 1 pick overall and also the owner of the largest contract ever given to a rookie.

According to Jay Glazer, of FOXSports.com, the deal is worth $78 million over six years and includes $41.7 million in guaranteed money.

Yes, that is $41.7 million to a player who has never started an NFL game, thrown an NFL pass or went through an NFL practice. Ridiculous money to say the least! I could go on for hours about that, but I will save that discussion for another day. Tap your mouse here for more »

Poll: Where will Jay Cutler be traded?

Where will quarterback Jay Cutler play in the 2009 season and beyond?

That is the question we all find ourselves discussing around the water cooler today.

The Denver Broncos, as reported yesterday, plan to actively try to send their disgruntled quarterback elsewhere. A deal will likely come in the next few weeks, so it is in place before the 2009 NFL Draft, but which team will jump up to the plate and consummate a deal with Denver?

Cast your vote and let us hear your thoughts!

Where will Jay Cutler play in 2009?

Who will Jay Cutler play quarterback for in 2009?

Who will Jay Cutler play quarterback for in 2009?

The drama has continued, almost to the level of a cheesy soap opera, between quarterback Jay Cutler and the Denver Broncos.

He wants out and the Broncos clearly are not married to the thought of keeping him. So, which team will he end up with? Tap your mouse here for more »

Detroit Lions would be fools taking a quarterback early

The Detroit Lions are not ready for quarterback Matthew Stafford or any other rookie quarterback for that matter.

Owners of the No. 1 and No. 20 picks in the first round of the upcoming NFL Draft, the Lions need to start building from the bottom up. They need a base for a young quarterback to work with, not be neck deep in a massive rebuilding process. Mock draft after mock draft show the Lions taking a quarterback with the No. 1 pick. In general quick-glance terms, it makes sense. In reality, or when looking to build a franchise long-term, it is ludicrous. Tap your mouse here for more »
