Head-to-head rant, Carson Palmer and an 18-game sked

I hope my readers enjoyed more success in Week 3 than I did. It was a rough weekend in most of my leagues. I learned from my lineup mistakes, and a few were unavoidable ... sometimes the matchups don't play out as expected, which is just part of the game.

On a tangent: I am sick of head-to-head leagues. Total points formats showcase the talents of owners far more than H2H setups do, because you have removed the potential for a lucky win or a fluky loss. The cumulative standings in total points leagues are reflective of savvy owners making the right lineup choices, just as much as they are of the opposite. Sure, luck has a factor in fantasy football - no question about it - but I hate to give it a helping hand. Tap your mouse here for more »
