Fantasy football running back targets and stashes
We are getting awfully close to that time of the year (no, not the holidays), as fantasy football regular seasons are winding down and the playoff landscape is being finalized over the remaining few weeks of play.
This had me thinking about which players I wanted to stash and target in some of my leagues. Stash players: I'm referring to those hardly known, seldom used options that a make you gasp upon realizing your opponent had the fortitude to put the player into their lineup against you.
Targeted players include midrange options that you can probably land on the cheap, if your league allows trading. Today's focus is the running back position. Tap your mouse here for more »

The NFL’s Week 1 scheduling conundrum
NFL franchises play the same non-conference division every four seasons, and this year the NFC East will do battle with its AFC counterpart. The first weekend of NFL action means we will have games being played on Sept. 11, the 10th anniversary of the tragic attacks that reshaped our nation. Tap your mouse here for more »
NFL Draft Grapevine: AFC winners and losers
Now that we've had a few days to digest the offerings of the 2010 NFL Draft, it is time for our annual draft winners and losers piece. In what is always a controversial analysis, everyone has fun grading the draft or tearing apart the next guy's evaluation. Truth be told, it's unfair to grade anything before a few seasons of football have been played, but who has time for that? Tap your mouse here for more »

NFL Draft Grapevine: McNabb's effects on the draft
Being a mock drafter is a tough job, I tell ya. You need thick skin, because, after all, you're always wrong, and you never get credit when you're right.
No one remembers if you correctly picked the first 10 picks, and no matter how accurate you are, you are considered a fool by most. It comes with the territory.
The Donovan McNabb trade caused a ripple effect in our last mock draft, so it was time to update that puppy before we were berated any further.
With Monday's update came a lot of changes, so let's break them down. Tap your mouse here for more »

LT is now a joke, I mean Jet
I see fantasy potential again in LaDainian Tomlinson, now a New York Jet, but I have lost a lot of respect for him. He took the easy way out.
We're talking about the same guy that said he wanted to separate himself from the me-first personalities that he felt plagued the San Diego Chargers, so he follows Antonio Cromartie?!?! Tap your mouse here for more »
